Giving > Giving to MHA of Westchester

Planned Giving

Through careful planning, gifts to charity can be useful in minimizing your current and your estate taxes.

Your planned gift can help us in advocacy, community education and direct services and at the same time benefit you and your family.

Contact your financial advisor to discuss your alternatives, which may include:

Bequests

A gift is made through

  • A percentage of your estate
  • Your estate residual
  • Designating a specific amount
  • Use of specific assets, such as securities

For more detailed information on bequests, review Four Ways to Give to MHA.

Gift Annuity or Charitable Remainder Trust

A gift of cash, securities or properties is transferred to us. Periodic payments are made to you and/or your spouse or other lifetime beneficiary.

Retirement Plan Gift

You may designate us as the final beneficiary of pension or retirement funds.

Life Insurance

A gift of an existing life insurance policy is an affordable way to help us fund our programs. A new life insurance policy also may be purchased with us as the beneficiary.

Current Gift

A current gift of cash or appreciated securities is always welcome.

To mail your current gift, send your check payable to MHA of Westchester to:
