Training in School Violence Prevention and Intervention

As a provider approved by the New York State Education Department, we offer training in School Violence Prevention and Intervention for teachers, teacher assistants, pupil personnel services professionals and school administrators who are applying for New York State certification.

Is It For Me?

If you are applying for certification as a teacher, teacher assistant, pupil personnel services professional or school administrator, you are required to complete course work or training in school violence prevention and intervention offered by an organization approved by the New York State Education Department.

What We Deliver

On a scheduled basis and by request, we provide the three-hour training in School Violence Prevention and Intervention. A certificate of attendance is issued following completion of the program. Training may also be conducted at your school if you have a minimum of ten persons for a class.

When

The training is scheduled regularly and by request. Scheduled trainings will be held on June 4 and September 10, 2008, 3:00 - 5:30 PM.

Languages Spoken

Services are available in English.

Cost

The fee for the training is $40.00 per person.

Staff/Service Providers

Master's level social workers or doctoral level psychologists provide the training.
