Information and Referral

Our Information and Referral Office is a specialized telephone service at 914-345-5900, extension 240. It provides resources and referrals to community members, professionals, clients and agencies on any mental health issue. Professional standards of confidentiality are applied for every caller.

Is It For Me?

This service is available to everyone and is especially helpful to anyone who has a mental health concern or a question about mental health services in Westchester County and the immediate surrounding area.

What We Deliver

Information, resources and referrals are available through 914-345-5900, extension 240 on mental health questions relating to Westchester County and surrounding areas including:

  • Inpatient and outpatient mental health services
  • Substance abuse treatment services
  • Housing
  • Case Management
  • Mental health advocacy
  • Support and self help groups
  • Family violence support and services
  • Local and national information regarding mental health and related services

All our services, including treatment, can be accessed by calling 914-345-5900, extension 240.

When

The Information and Referral line is staffed from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Voice mail messages and e-mail message to help@mhawestchester.org may be left at any time.

Languages Spoken

Services are available in English only.

Cost

There are no fees for this service.

Staff/Service Providers

The line is staffed by individuals knowledgeable about Westchester County resources and is supported by a professionally maintained database of services. The Mental Health Association is also a partner of Mental Health Associations throughout New York State and across the United States. Thus we can access their local knowledge and resources as needed.
