Our Transportation Services

Our Transportation Program arranges, provides and monitors utilization of countywide transportation for adults with psychiatric disabilities who are eligible for Community Support Services (CSS).

Is It For Me

Adults with serious mental illness who meet the eligibility criteria of the Community Support Program and are members of the Sterling Club can access transportation from their homes to the Sterling Club.

If you meet the CSS eligibility criteria, and are unable to access Medicaid transportation, you may be able to arrange time-limited transportation services with us to see your therapist or attend another vocational or mental health service in Westchester County.

If you are a consumer of Westchester Jewish Community Services’ (WJCS) Geriatric Continuing Day Treatment Program, you may be eligible for transportation to and from the program.

For more information regarding eligibility for this transportation please call the WJCS Program Director at 914-946-6220.

To find out more about our transportation service, or if you have any questions regarding CSS eligibility criteria, you may call 914-949-7035, extension 223. To arrange for transportation to and from the Sterling Club, call 914-949-1212, extension 210. You may also call our Information and Referral Service at 914-345-5900, extension 240, or send an e-mail message to help@mhawestchester.org.

What We Deliver

We provide transportation for Sterling Club members from their residences throughout Westchester County to the Sterling Club on weekdays, two evenings a week and on weekends.

We provide daily weekday transportation to clients of Westchester Jewish Community Services’ Continuing Geriatric Treatment program.

We offer administrative direction and support to Westchester’s mental health providers for their consumer group trips.

We can arrange funding for time limited individual transportation for Community Support Services (CSS) eligible clients who are unable to access Medicaid-funded transportation.

We can certify a CSS-eligible client for Transportation services. As a result of becoming CSS certified, the consumer can become eligible for other CSS services such as case management.
