Other Volunteer OpportunitiesInterested in making a difference in your community?There are many ways to support MHA and promote the mental health of your community. Some are excellent opportunities for high school students and others who are seeking to fulfill public service requirements. Board of Directors and Planning CommitteesMHA is looking for a few talented and conscientious volunteer Planning Committee Members and potential Board Members to help guide MHA of Westchester’s future. We are actively seeking candidates with skills in the following areas: Development/Marketing MHA is seeking experienced marketers, salespeople and fundraisers to assist with recruiting and securing sponsorships and donations for its fundraising events and other development initiatives. Finance/Accounting MHA is seeking professionals with stellar financial skills, especially CPAs, to work with staff and Board members to ensure the agency’s continued financial health. The Board of Directors and committees take an active role in fundraising efforts. MHA Development DepartmentYou can be part of dynamic efforts to build for MHA’s future. Holiday OutreachHoliday Outreach is an annual gift-giving project that serves thousands of children, teens, adults and seniors who are coping with mental illness. Sterling ClubSterling Club, located in White Plains, is a place where individuals with psychiatric disabilities engage in meaningful and satisfying social, vocational, educational activities in a non-stigmatizing setting.
