Hello to Our Northern Westchester Neighbors

Irwin Lubell

Our presence in northern Westchester for almost 40 years is testimony to the excellent services we offer children, families and adults in our friendly site in Mount Kisco.

Our highly trained, talented and committed staff excel at realizing family goals by working collaboratively with family members, teachers and school counselors, religious institutions and others to maximize our effectiveness.

Our experience encompasses normal child development issues, child and adult stress and wellness, family issues, women’s concerns, managing anxiety and depression and psychological trauma and the challenges often associated with adolescence. We have also been at the forefront in Westchester County of providing direct services to families coping with emotional abuse and domestic violence.

For those of you who are new to NWCC, we began as the Northern Westchester Guidance Center and we were the first children’s mental health clinic in northern Westchester. Over the last four decades, we have expanded our services and outreach to include adults and families and we remain focused on delivering quality care for children, adolescents, families and adults in our local communities.

We are keenly aware of the costs associated with mental health and wellness services. Because we do not want anyone to go without needed services, we have in place a Financial Assistance Program that guarantees that no child, adolescent or adult will ever be denied services at NWCC because of an inability to pay standard fees. Quality services are offered to match an individual’s or family’s circumstances, because we believe that sound mental health should be everyone¹s right and promoting mental health is everybody’s business!

If you, your family or someone you know is struggling with anxiety and depression, the risk of suicide, unexpected loss or domestic violence, among other mental health and wellness issues, please do not struggle alone. We have a long history of providing valuable services in Northern Westchester and we’re here to help - 914-666-4646.

Sincerely,

Irwin Lubell
NWCC Director
