We have an exciting new opportunity for a Full-Time Licensed Clinician to work in our out-patient mental health clinic at the Single Homeless Assessment Center in Valhalla.
The Licensed Clinician is a member of an interdisciplinary, interagency assessment team and is located on-site at the shelter. He/she is part of the clinical professional staff of the licensed clinic. The primary responsibility of the clinician is to conduct assessments of individuals who are currently homeless and who are requesting housing assistance. The focus will be to determine the individual’s needs for specific supports necessary for independent living and to conduct comprehensive assessments (e.g. mental health, substance use, educational/vocational) to determine service needs. He/she must be reliable and responsible, demonstrating the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, flexibility, creativity and a collaborative spirit.
Ability to master an electronic record system, meet deadlines and productivity targets and willingness to grow and change are musts.
The candidate must hold one of the following licenses: Psychologist, LCSW, Candidates must consent to Fingerprinting and a Criminal History Information Records search.
