MHA reaches out to families and individuals by providing services in their homes, nursing homes, homeless shelters and other community sites. We have an exciting new opportunity for a Registered Nurse for OnTrackNY.
OnTrackNY is a new, innovative treatment program that will serve adolescents and young adults (16-30 years old) who are within one year of experiencing the onset of non-affective psychosis. The Nurse will work 7 hours per week on a small multidisciplinary team providing coordinated and assertive treatment and support in the earliest stages of psychosis.
The candidate must be a NYS Registered Nurse. The candidate must exhibit patience, flexibility, compassion and a deep belief in recovery. Training or experience working with adolescents and/or young adults with serious mental health conditions, experience in community-based mental health services and experience with a team approach are required. Individuals with lived experience of recovery are encouraged to apply. Candidates must consent to Fingerprinting and a Criminal History Information Records search.
