This year The Mental Health Association of Westchester County, Inc. (MHA) is
combining two great events into one big day. This year’s event will be bigger and better
than ever, so please join us!
5K Run/Walk
The fun will begin at 8:00 AM Saturday, September 20th at FDR State Park in
Yorktown Heights, NY. Get on the move with MHA by spending an exhilarating, healthy
morning with family, friends and colleagues. Feeling competitive? Form a team! Bring
the kids and get them movin’ in the 1-Mile Kids’ Race. Games, food and entertainment
will abound.
This fun, family-oriented event is designed to create community awareness for mental
health and erase the stigma associated with mental illness.
Dance!
After a break, put on your dancing shoes for the on the move Gala Dance Celebration
at the Marros in Rye, NY. This evening for adults, set in a Spanish Colonial-style
mansion, features cocktails, dinner, dancing and a great party atmosphere. The
celebration also includes award presentations to outstanding individuals and
companies who embody the essence of MHA and its mission.
