You probably know that

• Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) may be experienced by rescue workers involved in the aftermath of a disaster,

But did you also know that…

• Family members of individuals with PTSD can also develop the disorder.

Are you aware that…

• Headaches, gastrointestinal distress, immune system problems, dizziness and chest pains are common in people with PTSD. Physicians may treat these symptoms without realizing that they stem from an anxiety disorder.
