MHA Hosts Dutch Program Directors for Day of Innovative Recovery-Centered Education
MHA Hosts Dutch Program Directors

On Tuesday, November 24th, The Mental Health Association of Westchester (MHA) hosted a group of behavioral health program directors from the Netherlands for an inside look at our innovative recovery programs. We were delighted to welcome Jan Alblas, Director of Pameijer; Henk Steen, CEO of Odion; Ben Eisink, Director of Gemiva; Leon Langenberg, Director of Cultural Centre Baarle; and Hans Admiral, Director of Care Evean.

The day kicked off at the Sterling Community Center, where the visiting program directors toured the site and discussed recovery goals and interests with many of MHA’s program participants. MHA also welcomed the visitors to our administrative office in Tarrytown for an overview on the various services we offer, such as OnTrackNY @ MHA, an innovative approach to providing recovery-oriented treatment for young people who have recently begun to experience psychosis.
