For many of us, social media have become the communication vehicle of choice. Yet our social media presence may present unexpected challenges. Those who work in large organizations likely benefit from policies and security measures implemented by IT professionals. But what about those who work in smaller practices? Are your contacts protected so that “suggested” connections do not reveal confidential information? How do you control your own personal information online? What are the issues that arise with texting and social networking contact with clients? Are your communications secure? How do you protect PHI and also provide access to your clients? How do you integrate new technologies into your practice?
Join us to learn current best practices in the world of constantly changing technology, including information security compliance, risk analysis and importance of developing an information security policy.
