Museum of Television and Radio - Manhattan

This museum is wildly popular with kids. Besides changing exhibits and special showings of movies and television shows, the really appealing activity is the library and the consoles. In the library, use a very simple-to-operate computer program to select up to four TV programs, then view them on a private screen. They have over 50,000 recordings, including episodes of everything from news broadcasts to the “Muppet Show” to “I Love Lucy” to modern sitcoms. Remember to sign up for library time when you enter the museum. Combine this with NBC Studios tour for a terrific day excursion with a TV theme!
