Help in Searching This Web Site

The simplest search is one for a single word such as:

treatment
children
education
volunteer
staff

Do not enclose words in quotes; just enter the word(s) you are seeking.

Searching for Prefixes

You may find it helpful to search for words that begin with the same prefix. For example, if you search for inter* you will find pages that relate to:

intervention
intersection
internet

Similarly, if you are seeking all pages that deal with adult and adults enter adult*. If you are seeking all pages that deal with child and children enter child*.

Searches With Multiple Words

If you enter mental health treatment your search will return only pages that contain all three words - mental, health and treatment. The results will be the same if you enter health treatment mental; the order of the words does not matter. To find all pages that deal with treatment for a child or children enter treatment child*.

Do not use words such as and, or, near. Although these words are used by some other search programs, they are not appropriate in searching this site.

Capitalization, Commas, Periods

All capitalization is ignored. Entering any of the three terms below will give you the same results:

children
CHILDREN
Children

Periods are ignored. You will get the same results whether you enter PhD, Ph.D., PHD.

Commas are ignored between words. You'll get the same results whether you enter Elmsford, NY or Elmsford NY.
