Clinic Director (LCSW) - Mt. Kisco, NY

The Mental Health Association of Westchester (MHA) is a community-based not-for-profit committed to recovery-focused mental health services through advocacy, community education and direct services. We are recognized as the leader in Westchester in providing person-centered services that involve collaborating with each individual to achieve his or her goals.

Our highly trained staff utilize evidence-based practices throughout our comprehensive array of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented services.

Join our Team! We have an exciting new opportunity for a full time Clinic Director, in Mt. Kisco, NY (LCSW, LCSW-R or licensed psychologist). Base Annual Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000.

SUMMARY of DUTIES
All of our clinic sites are all Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model. They are specially-designated clinics that provides a comprehensive range of mental health and substance use services. Our clinics offer individual, group, family and medication services for individuals of all ages – and for a full range of behavioral health conditions. Our clinic has increased access to mental health and substance use disorder treatment and established innovative partnerships with law enforcement, community-based organizations, schools and hospitals; to improve care, reduce recidivism and prevent hospital readmissions.

The Clinic Director is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the program, services and staff. The director will support recovery by providing services that reflect our deeply held values that include the recognition of individual rights of self-determination, choice, shared decision-making and collaboration. Assures the organization's philosophy and mission statement are practiced throughout clinic services. When possible, the director will use evidence-based practices; always embracing a trauma-informed and person-centered approach.

SPECIFIC DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Participation in meetings with community agencies and other service providers as needed.
2. Provision of direct clinical services, which may include, but are not limited to, forensic evaluations, outreach, assessment, crisis counseling, individual/family mental health treatment, and integrated health care management.
3. Market Clinic Program to new potential referral sources and conduct community outreach referrals to elicit referrals.
4. Participates in budget oversight and review of fiscal reports.
5. Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of relationships with providers to which MHA makes/receives referrals.
6. Development and execution of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analysis of data for continued program development.
7. Participate in quality assurance (QA), utilization review (UR) related activities as assigned by VP of Clinic Operations.
8. Responsible for data collection and analysis for report out meetings.
9. Program development and oversight of day to day operations at clinic site location, including coordination of forensic evaluations with our partnered community-based organization (CBO).
10. Continued assessment of day to day operations to ensure clinic /programs are running to full potential.
11. Responsible for maintaining clinical records and following guidelines and regulations for documentation of services.
12. Oversight of documentation completed by staff, including timeliness and quality.
13. Attend meetings as requested by the VP of Clinic Operations.
14. Responsible for participation in program development and in training programs as requested by the VP of Clinic Operations.
15. Responsible for staff supervision, mentoring, coaching, performance evaluations, time and attendance and training coordination for all direct reports. Provide 24-hour crisis intervention on-call services on rotating basis.
16. Follows the established agency policies and procedures. Maintain appropriate professional standards.
17. Responsible for adhering to all standards and guidelines established by applicable regulatory authorities.
18. Keeps abreast of literature and seminal research on social determinants of health with an eye towards helping MHA maintain meaningful, impactful, and sustainable services for all clients served.
19. Other related duties as assigned.

12. Familiarity with and ability to use an Electronic Health Record system.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. The Clinic Director must be an experienced mental health professional as defined by Part 585 of the OHM regulations. i.e. LCSW, LCSW-R or Psychologist
2. Unrestricted, New York State licensure required and must be maintained in good standing.
3. Bilingual- Spanish strongly preferred.
4. Must be reliable and able to work independently and understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
5. Work independently, complete tasks and all required paperwork in a timely and complete manner.
6. Must have advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and data base management.
7. Have and maintain a valid Driver’s License with a driving record that is satisfactory to our insurance carrier, have and maintain a Defensive Driving certification.
8. Must be and maintain clearance by the DCJS New York State Sex Offender Registry.
9. Must be and maintain clearance by the Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs Staff Exclusion List (SEL) and the New York State Medicaid Exclusion List.
10. Must be and maintain clearance by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) for instances of child abuse and/or neglect.
11. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
