On Wednesday, May 4th, more than 200 community members gathered at the Alamo Drafthouse in Yonkers for the Westchester premiere of the award-winning feature film, No Letting Go. Based on writer and producer Randi Silverman’s own life, No Letting Go follows a Westchester family as they navigate their son’s mental health conditions and the difficult decisions they must make as he grows up.
Following the screening, moviegoers participate in a Q&A and discussion with the real family behind the film, as well as experts in the mental health field. The Q&A was moderated by Linda Rosenberg, President and CEO of The National Council for Behavioral Health. This film screening was made possible through a collaboration with The Harris Project, HDSW, NAMI Westchester, the Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health and WJCS.
