Dr. Amy Kohn, CEO of The Mental Health Association of Westchester, was presented with The Coalition of Behavioral Health Agencies' Legacy Leadership Award at its annual reception on Tuesday, September 20th.
Held at Pfizer World Headquarters, The Coalition’s event honored four leaders of New York’s behavioral health community for their strong commitment to improving the lives of people living with behavioral health issues, as well as for their service to the sector.
Along with Kohn, The Coalition presented awards to Richard R. Buery, Jr., Deputy Mayor for Strategic Policy Initiatives at the New York City Office of the Mayor; Briana Gilmore, Director of Planning and Recovery Practice at Community Access; and Emil Slane, the Deputy Commissioner and Chief Fiscal Officer for the New York State Office of Mental Health.
“It is with great pleasure that I accept the Legacy Leadership Award,” said Dr. Amy Kohn. “I am continually inspired by The Coalition’s work, and it is an honor to be recognized alongside fellow advocates for a better behavioral health system.”
