Please join us in congratulating our CEO Dr. Amy Kohn, who recently received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Mental Health Association in New York State, Inc.

Dr. Kohn was presented with the award on Thursday, October 27th during the MHANYS annual conference in Albany.

Dr. Amy Kohn has dedicated her life to social work and human rights advocacy. During her nearly 10 years as CEO of MHA, she has continued to tirelessly transform the agency’s culture and the makeup of the behavioral health system through her vision, innovation and recovery-oriented approaches to health care delivery. She received her master’s degree in Social Work from Adelphi University and her doctorate degree in Social Welfare from Columbia University, and she is a graduate of the Not-for-Profit Executive Management Program at the Columbia University School of Business. She is the current Chair of Coordinated Behavioral Health Services, LLC, an IPA serving the Greater Hudson Valley region, and a partner of CBHCare, LLC, an integrated behavioral health/primary care IPA.
