Employment Services
Through a recovery-oriented approach which utilizes the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, MHA’s Employment Services help individuals with behavioral health conditions prepare for, choose and maintain employment. Our 10-day Diagnostic Vocational Evaluation program assesses a person’s readiness for vocational rehabilitation and may result in a referral for educational or employment services. The Work Readiness Program helps individuals prepare for workplace success through building job-seeking and interview skills while developing and enhancing work experience and employment “soft skills.” Individuals who have not worked or who have had limited success in prior jobs may benefit from our Supported Employment service, which develops individualized employment plans and provides assistance integrating employment and wellness. We also have Employment Specialists on hand to help individuals obtain – and retain – employment through our Direct Placement Services; Job-Seeking and Development Services; and Job Placement and Retention Services.
