Many of us are experiencing unprecedented hardships as a result of this pandemic. Our short-term focus may be on getting through the day and the losses we are experiencing, but we would like to also turn our attention to the long-term possibility of growth as a result of adversity.

Virtual Yoga Donation Class for Mental Health Month
In recognition of Mental Health Month, many took part in a special virtual donation yoga class hosted by Barbara Dunn.
The 60-minute Vinyasa Flow class had an emphasis on the close connection between breath, movement and meditation. Barbara is a RYT-200 yoga instructor and is working on the RYT-500 certification at Kripalu.
Proceeds from this donation class went towards MHA.
Your yoga practice helped to provide a pathway to recovery and resilience.
MHA Awarded $4 Million Federal Grant to Expand Integrated Behavioral Health Services
The Mental Health Association of Westchester (MHA) is pleased to announce an award of $4 million over two years from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to expand its existing Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). An innovative integrated clinic model, MHA’s CCBHC improves access by addressing financial and logistical barriers and delivers a network of services to support a range of needs, regardless of an individual’s ability to pay.

Our virtual doors are open. If you or someone you know is seeking support, we are here for you. We are accepting referrals for new clients, as well as continuing to provide services for those already engaged with us. Services are delivered primarily through our TeleHealth platform, and in-person services are available when necessary.
