At MHA, we believe in empowering individuals with behavioral health conditions to make choices about their living, working and social environments, and that making their own choices will speed recovery. MHA Youth ACT Team Member Briana Braverman Acknowledged in 2024 NYS "State of the State" Address
MHA is excited to announce that Briana Braverman, a Youth Peer advocate with our Youth ACT Team, was acknowledged during NYS Gov. Kathy Hochul's 2024 State of the State Address!
Briana, a dedicated youth leader, has tirelessly supported young New Yorkers through MHA's Youth ACT program. This initiative empowers youths facing mental health challenges, enabling them to remain within their schools and communities instead of opting for in-patient treatment.
